Great Impressions: Bookmarks

Great Impressions

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another project featuring amazing rubber stamps by Great Impressions!  Today I thought I'd break out of my card making mold and do something a little bit different.  Remember those birthday cards I made for the monthly challenge?  Well, I thought I'd make a small coordinating gift to add to the cards for my friends!

Here's what I came up with~

Each bookmark individually~

8565 - A Friend - Sku: E794

I love this sentiment and couldn't think of what image I wanted to pair it with so I let it stand alone...with just a tiny butterfly for some embellishment!  Hopefully my friends will use these bookmarks and remember how special they are to me!  What gift for a friend will you create today using Great Impressions stamps?

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a gander at my bookmarks!  Don't forget that next week is a tutorial week--it'll be Stamping With Gelatos!  Pop on over to the blog for a list of what you'll need for the tutorial and to take a peek at the other amazing DT work for more inspiration! :)

See you again next Thursday for another project using these wonderful stamps!  Don't forget that we have a monthly challenge going on right now as well--it's a chance to get win of these amazing stamps so I hope you'll join us!  HUGS and happy stamping friends!

These are fabulous Mynnette. I love the sentiment and the little ribbons. Did you coat the bookmark in anything or just leave it as card? And also I don't have the metal thing to put around the hole. Is there an alternative? I want to make my Mum a bookmark but have been unsure of these things. When you get chance just reply to this post as I will subscribe to follow ups as I know you are busy!

Sandie: I just let them as card. You could cover them, but the ink might run unless you used a spray. I don't know of an alternative to eyelets, but I'm sure you could find eyelets at almost any craft store! :) Hope that helps!

Hi Mynnette, how's things??
Sorry I haven't been by lately, but been really busy and am struggling to cope in the heat that we are getting at the moment.
Great Impressions stamps are lovely aren't they, I will have to check out the challenge and see what I can come up with.
hugs for now.
